“Christ’s Passion”: from yesterday’s Palm Sunday service

April 14, 2014

I showed this video in yesterday’s Palm Sunday service. I prepared it two years ago from video and photos from my Holy Land trip. The latest version of iMovie enabled me to enhance the audio slightly from the original movie.

The background music is the song “Horizons,” performed by the great Steve Hackett as a prelude to Genesis’s amazing song about the end of the world, “Supper’s Ready.” Enjoy!

Made me look forward the trip I get to go on to the Holy Land next month. Thanks!

It has been the gift that keeps on giving! Don’t be like me, though… I actually had little interest in going, except my church paid for it and the bishop invited me (and my class of fellow ordinands). I didn’t pay attention to the itinerary in advance. When it was all over, I would have asked a few more questions and noticed a few more things.

Still, it was a life-changing trip. I’ll never read the Bible the same!
