One thought-provoking resource that I used for our recently concluded Ten Commandments series, which I happily recommend to you, is the book The Truth About God: The Ten Commandments in Christian Life, by Stanley Hauerwas and William Willimon. Willimon is a United Methodist bishop and Hauerwas a theologian at Duke Divinity School. They never fail to challenge and find surprising insights in the text.
